Chris Cobern and the hard working folks at Upper Goulburn have just planted 300 of our trees with the help of employees from NAB Melbourne. The trees went to a farm in the Kinglake District of North/Central Victoria.

The Upper Goulburn Landcare Network recently held a planting day on a farm near Kinglake.

With the help of corporate volunteers from NAB and members of the Kinglake Landcare Group, we planted 300 trees kindly provided by Fifteen Trees and their supporters.

The plants will help revegetate this fire ravaged property. As well as providing wind protection for stock and habitat for native wildlife they will also help protect against erosion on the steep hill side. The farm managers Duncan and Cindy very much appreciated the volunteer assistance and provided home made soup and a bbq lunch for everyone.

These trees were made available to Chris through the generous donations of the following – the wonderful St Brigidine nuns from across Victoria (180 trees), Sasha Heath from Little Island Fields (15 trees), Suzannah Morrison from swept sway eco services (16 trees, including one tree in memory of her mother’s dear friend Helen McKernan), Louisa Bear (15 trees), Shane Delphine (15 trees), Oli Moraes (15trees), Climate for Change , Yevon Yap (15 trees), Darryl Pierce (15 trees),  Michelle Dunn from Michelle Dunn Photography and the With Camera in Hand project (10 trees) and Julie Brusaschi (1 tree).

Big Love to all those above.
