Please find attached a photo of Baw Baw Shire’s National Tree Day event at Brooker Park, Warragul on Sunday 30th July. Funds from Fifteen Trees were used to continue restoration works along Hazel Creek. In total 1030 plants were installed by community volunteers, 300 of which were supplied by supporters of Fifteen Trees. A combination of trees, shrubs and grasses were installed to replicate the vegetation type that previously occurred at the site. A total of 53 volunteers participated on the day, making a significant contribution to improving the local environment.
